I stumbled upon Las Chiquitas while exploring Main Street in Redwood City, and I'm so glad I did! It's an unassuming spot from the outside, but inside is filled with warmth, incredible hospitality, and truly exceptional food. The husband-and-wife owners, Olivia and Guillermo, welcomed me like family--they're genuinely wholesome people who clearly put their hearts into their restaurant. Their Chicken Chile Relleno, a Guadalajara-style dish recommended as one of their best, was outstanding--rich flavors, beautifully prepared, and memorable. One thing that especially resonated with me is that they close on Saturdays and Sundays to spend quality time with their two daughters, who occasionally help around the restaurant. That kind of commitment to family says a lot about their values. Highly recommend visiting this gem during the week!

What a hidden gem! My friend and I keep returning for the chili rellenos, but we have tried other dishes which have all been delicious. The two tables inside seat only two or three people each, but they are usually available when we arrive at odd hours. There is additional seating on the sidewalk, and we noticed a lot of customers picking up take-out orders. The service is great and, if you are lucky, you can chat with the very personable chef who is also the owner. We highly recommend it!

Nice find in Redwood City for some tacos. The shrimp, fish, and carnitas tacos were awesome. The al pastor needed a bit of work. Also, needs a hotter hot sauce - maybe they have one already. Lunch * Shrimp taco (Excellent) * Fish taco (Excellent) * Carnitas super taco (Very good) * Al pastor super taco (Good)

Las Chiquitas is a small family run joint close to downtown Redwood City. There is a small outdoor patio, and a few tables inside of you want to eat there. When we got there only one person was working, but the service was extremely fast considering she was on her own! She rang up our order and made our food and it took less than 15 minutes for everything to be out. They take card too for anyone wondering! We ordered the chicken chile relleno, asada quesadilla, a side of rice, horchata, and a smoothie. We got some free chips and salsa while we waited for our food to come out as well! The food was all really good!! The asada in the quesadilla was really flavorful and not gristly! You could also really taste the different flavors in the chile relleno! The smoothie was amazing! It was a combo of strawberry, pineapple and a few other fruits. More of the family came in to help as we ate our food, and were super friendly. They told us about how their chile relleno is special since it has the chicken and other veggies in it. The prices are about average for the area, and in my opinion totally worth it. Overall this is a really cute family owned and operated place with good food!

Brought my wife here for her birthday. She was born and raised in Redwood City so I like to bring her to different spots when we are in town. We came for the chilaquiles but we did not know they stop serving breakfast at 11:00 AM. Please note that is the only thing not mentioned in reviews or on Yelp. The food was really good. Definitely legit and home style. I had tacos durados and the wifey had posole. Definitely worth the drive. We will be back soon for the chilaquiles
